Raw Mango Pana
This scorching heat is making my skin dehydrate and to feel fresh and cool my heart always longs for something cool and refreshing.

Summer reminds me of mangoes. Lot of things can be made with fresh raw mango. Mangoes can be eaten both raw and ripe. Raw mangoes have a sharp sour taste, while the ripe mangoes are juicy and sweet to eat.


Raw mango pana is apt for  it’s sweet and sour  taste, along with it's medicinal properties.

Without making you wait more, I am going to jump for the refreshing drink recipe.






All you need is:
  • Raw mangoes 4-5 (peeled and boiled)
  • Sugar  250 gms
  • Roasted and powdered Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Asetofeida  1 pinch
  • Black salt  1 tsp
  • Lime juice 2 tsp
  • Dried  Mint 1 tsp
  • Crushed Ice
  • Chilli Flakes 1/2 tsp
Just Go for it:


  • Peel the raw mangoes and boil with 1 tsp salt.
  • Strain and let it cool
  • Add sugar and also filter it to remove any impurities
  • Add Cumin seeds,black salt, heeng, lime juice, mint powder.
  • Add chilli flakes and crushed ice.
  • Keep for cooling.
  • Serve chilled.

Red Pumpkin and Sesame seeds Puri

This recipe is ultimate for the breakfast that will spice up your taste buds.












Ingredients:

  • Red Pumpkin grated 250 gms
  • Sesame seeds,coarsely grinded 100 gms
  • Wheat flour 2 cups
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • oil 1 tsp
Method:
  • Add grated red pumpkin, grinded sesame seeds.
  • Ad salt, chillies and black pepper with oil.
  • Using water and wheat flour,knead a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into small balls.
  • Make small puris and deep fry in oil.
  • Serve with garlic chutney. 

Strawberry Smoothie

Strawberries are a real tropical fruit to make you feel fresh and welcome summers.

This recipe is best for breakfast and an any time drink to give you a quick break from the scorching heat.











Ingredients:
  • Fresh Strawberries 5-10
  • Banana 2
  • Fresh yoghurt 1 bowl
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Crushed Ice
  • Mint leaves
Method:
  • Wash the strawberries and remove the cap and slice them.
  • Slice the bananas also.
  • Blend them with yoghurt and sugar.
  • Again blend with crushed ice.
  • Decorate with mint leave and serve chilled.

Pista Rose Kulfi

Summers are in and cool desserts are a lick smacking desire for kids and elders all.

Here I am presenting for you a quick and easy kulfi recipe to freshen your taste buds.












Ingredients:
  • 1L milk
  • Sugar 4 tsp
  • Chopped Pistachios
  • Fresh rose petals
  • Cornflour 2 tsp
Method:
  • Boil the milk in a pan, till it is reduced to half.
  • Add Sugar and stir for few minutes.
  • Add pistachios and then add cornflour mixed with cool milk.
  • Stir for few minutes nad let it cool.
  • When cooled blend it and add fresh rose petals.
  • Keep in deep freezer in a tightly packed container.
  • Serve when freezed.

Chole/Chickpeas with Hariyali Rice

Chole is an important dish when it comes to make something every weekend and my experiments with chole recipe has to take a new turn everytime I make it.

This time I decided to give it a dark tinge and a crunchy munch.

The ingredients you need will be:


  • Overnight soaked Chole or Chickpeas  250 gms
  • Chopped Tomatoes 2 large
  • Oil 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon
  • Bay leaf
  • Jeera 
  • Salt as per taste
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Garam Masala (Home made)
  • Fresh Chopped Coriender
  • 2 green Chillies
  • 1 tea bag
Method

The method is very easy and experimenting with this recipe is always  fun , when you come out with a new taste and flavour of Chole.

  • Heat the cooker, add 1 tsp of veg oil
  • Add jeera, cinnamon,bay leaf.
  • As they crackle add chopped tomatoes.
  • Let them get soft, ans as oil appears on sides add garam masala,pinch of baking soda, salt
  • Stir for 1 minute,add water to cover the chole, tea bag
  • Cover the cooker and pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
  • Later on add chopped coriender and green chillies.
  • Squeeze half a lemon on it.
  • Serve with Hariyali rice.
Hariyali Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati rice, soaked for 30 minutes
  • Chopped fresh Spinach
  • 1 small bowl of peas
  • Jeera
Method

  • Heat  1 tsp ghee in a pan
  • Add jeera
  • Peas and spinach,stir softly
  • Add rice, pinch of salt
  • After stirring softly for 1 minute add water
  • When bubbles start appearing put on the lid and after 2-3 minutes turn off the heat
  • Serve hot with Chole.

Coconut Ladoos with Choco dip

It's a very quick, easy and healthy recipe for kids.

It's can satisfy your sweet tooth, you won't stop picking them whenever you pass by your fridge.






Ingredients:

  • Desicated Coconut 500 gms
  • Condensed Milk 1 tin
  • Liquid chocolate
Method:
  • Add desicated coconut with the condensened milk.
  • Make a soft dough.
  • Make small balls and insert a wooden stick.
  • Dip them in liquid chocolate, sprinkle some tuti fruti and set in fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Ready to serve your mouth licking desert.Kids will love it.Try it.
